UASK Tech Lab is an independent technology lab based in Inverness, Scotland. We focus on experimental technology, refurbished computers and practical hardware projects.

Our goal is simple: explore useful technology, restore quality devices and make them available for new ideas, development and experimentation.

What We Do

At UASK Tech Lab we test, restore and work with a wide range of technology including refurbished laptops, experimental hardware and unique computing devices.

Some equipment is restored for everyday use, while other devices are part of technology experiments, retro computing projects or open technology exploration.

Our Approach

We believe that good technology should not be wasted. Many devices still have years of useful life and can continue serving developers, students, hobbyists and technology enthusiasts.

Instead of treating hardware as disposable, we focus on practical technology that can still be used, studied, repaired or rebuilt for new purposes.
